How do I send money through Optimum Remit?

To Send Money:

  1. Visit any branch of Optimum Remit’s partner abroad.
  2. Inquire about the applicable service fee and conversion rate.
  3. Fill out a Sending Money Form and indicate the mode of transfer:
    • Credit to Bank Account
    • Cash pick up
    • Cash on delivery
  4. The branch may conduct a KYC and due diligence to verify the identity of the sender.
  5. A reference number shall be provided once the money transfer has been successfully processed.

Note: For Cash Pickup transactions, please provide the complete reference number and transaction details to your recipient in the Philippines. They shall also receive an SMS notification from OptimumRem

How long does it take for my recipient to receive the money once I've transferred it?

Money is credited in the bank or available for cash pick-up *within minutes after the transaction has been transmitted to Optimum Remit within Operating Hours (Monday to Sunday 8 am to 5 pm)

*Please consider the time difference between the Philippines and the Sending Country.

How can I check the status of the remittance I have sent?

Simply visit Home – Cash Remittance, Cash Padala and Bills Payment | Optimum Exchange Remit Inc (bilisremitonline.com) and key in the reference number to get the status of the remittance sent.

I want to amend the International Money Transfer details. What should I do?

Go to your sending branch to amend the International Money Transfer details. Please note that amendment fees may apply.

Can I send money to the Philippines even with no bank account?

Yes, you may send money to the Philippines even with no bank account. Your money can be delivered via door to door or claimed through cash pick-up.

Is it possible for me to appoint someone to collect my money?

For security reasons, only the appointed beneficiary may collect or claim the money.

Can I pay bills via "ALLCASH"?

How much does it cost to receive money?

The transfer fees are shouldered by the sender. There is no fee to be paid by the receiver or beneficiary.

How are money transfers made available to recipients?

Money transfers are made available through the following options:
Credit to Bank Account, Cash Pick-up, and Door to Door Delivery within Metro Manila and provinces.
